Cotton Lint
Delinting
Short cotton fibers (lint) are removed from the cottonseed using mechanical or acid delinting.
Cleaning and Drying
The recovered lint is cleaned to remove dust and impurities, then dried if necessary.
Baling and Storage
The clean cotton lint is compressed into bales, packaged, and stored or transported for further processing.
